June 3, 2010 - Grasshopper and Ekin Attend Summer Pop Music Festival Press Conference.
Ekin and Grasshopper attended the Summer Pop Music Festival Press Conference together with Big 4 and Joey Yeung. Because the three members of Grasshopper, Calvin Choy, Remus Choy, and Edmond So and Ekin are managed by Lam San San under the Lamb Productions banner, they jokingly referred to themselves as the Lamb 4. The musical festival will take place on August 27-28, 2010 at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Both Grasshopper and Ekin will perform. Laughing Grasshopper said "We won't incite Big 4, but don't worry, we will win over Big 4, because together we have the more hair than them." The Big 4, Dicky Cheung, Andy Hui, Edmond Leung, and William So, however, when they heard this said they better not plagiarize their name otherwise they would collect a copyright fee.
This year the music festival is on the anniversary of Roman Tam's death, Ekin indicated that at the festival he would sing 《明日天涯》 to commemorate his teacher. Although his ability to speak Mandarin, while improving, is still low, he can't fail his teacher, so he will be practicing 100%. Joey Yeung also revealed that she too would sing 《最后一课》 to honor her teacher. Like Ekin, she is grateful for all that Roman taught her.
