February 6, 2010 - Ekin Attends Gundam Movie Premiere
Ekin and Japanese actress Chiaki Kuriyama attended the premiere in Hong Kong of the latest Japanese Gundam movie 《機動戰士高達UC》.Ekin had sung the theme song for this movie. Ekin has been enamored of Gundam since middle school and loved to watch the cartoons. He also collected and built a lot of the models. However he said that because of work he hasn't had time to build any models for a long time. He was asked whether Yoyo prohibited him from buying models? he said," No, I just haven't bought any, but anyway Yoyo doesn't like to build models."
Ekin was asked how he would spend Valentines Day and New Year's Day. He said that usually he would make New Year calls to the older generations of his family, and have a family meal, every year is like this. In the evening he had already made plans to eat hot pot with good friends. He was asked what his Valentine gift would be. Ekin indicated that he would make that decision when the time came. As to the New Year marriage of Jordan Chan and Cherrie Ying. Ekin said that Jordan had called him and asked him to make time at New Year. Ekin said he would wait to see if there were two happy events in the same family. If it is a reality and only then would he decide on a gift. Ekin also indicated that he was beginning to think about a major turning point in his own life. He mentioned that Oxide Peng had recently married in a romantic ceremony, but because he was working on the Mainland he hadn't yet been able to offer his congratulations. he was asked about his own marriage, He laughed and said " Jordan will marry first." Ekin indicated that Jordan had asked him to go to Las Vegas for the ceremony, but later said he need not go. Perhaps at first it was planned as secret, but now everybody knows, so perhaps it will be in Hong Kong, I just wait to be notified.
