April 24, 2010 - Ekin and Miriam Attend Drug Prohibition Essay Competition
Miriam Yeung and Ekin attended the finals of the Primary School Drug Prohibition Essay Competition. Miriam felt that many young people take drugs because they cannot cope with pressure, and also because friends convince them. Ultimately however, parents are responsible. Miram was asked if this knowledged scared her from having children. She said she was fearless, the question is how to educate the next generation. Ekin also gave publicity to the event, saying that he hoped that as a public figure he could be a positive guide for young people. When he was asked about having children he immediately took a step backward, saying that as far as he was concerned this was in the distant future.Then he laughed and said it depended on hiow Miriam coped, only then might he make a plan. As for his girlfriend Yoyo going to eat with Cyrus Chow. Ekin smiled and said," Everyone is friends, and he also knows Cyrus Chow. Friends going out to eat is a simple thing, why so much fuss?"
The earthquake disaster area in Western China was also mentioned. Ekin said that he didn't want to go there because he would be more of a hinderance than a help. However he has plans to be part of a large benefit group song to raise money for the disaster fund.
