April 29, 2010 - Ekin Attends U Beauty and Medical Center Launch
Ekin together with the Peng Brothers, Elanne Kwong, and Elva Ni were among the honored guests who were invited to cut the ribbon to launch "U Beauty and Medical Center". Yumiko Cheng, Deep Ng, Michelle Wai, Stephy Tang, and Stephen Fung also attended making the event very lively. Emperor Boss Albert Yeung and Director Johnny To also sent flowers in congratulation. The Universal Boss Lam Xiao Ming spent $10 million HK to open the beauty company. Ekin said he really doesn't have a talent for doing business, He said that once with a friend he had started a business to sell air guns, the resulting misunderstanding that they were remodelled, which is illegal, almost got them into serious trouble. His friend told him to stick with his acting career which he did. However, he praised his girlfriend Yoyo, saying that she is a business woman because she previously worked in an advertising company. Currently she too is devoted to her acting work. He had considered opening a restaurant in Hong Kong, but the store rent is too expensive, so he gave up on the idea. He feels he will concentrate on entertainment for now, perhaps when he retires only then will he reconsider a business.
